You’ll need: Boston shaker, Hawthorne strainer, coupe glass
Ingredients
50ml tequila
50ml coconut water
15ml lime juice
5ml sugar syrup (optional)
Garnish: flaky salt, 1/4 lime wedge
Method
1. Chill a coupe glass with crushed ice or put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. Once fully chilled, discard the ice.
2. Prepare your garnish: add a small cut widthways to a 1/4 lime wedge. Run it around the rim of your glass (this is what helps the salt stick). Then, pour a little flaky salt on a side plate/saucer. You can either put the rim of the glass straight down into the salt or instead, roll the glass’s outside edge into the salt.
3. Add all of the ingredients to a Boston shaker with cubed ice, and shake until the tin frosts over.
4. Strain the cocktail into the glass.
